The Market Stall at the End of the World – Crick Crack Club
11AM – 5PM. All ages, everyone welcome.

Welcome to the market stall at the end of the world, where nothing is for sale and the only payments accepted are memories! Part museum, part market stall, part cabinet of curiosities, here every object tells a story – stories you know, stories you thought you knew, and stories you’ve never heard before. Your museum curators for the day will be magnificent storytellers Nell Phoenix and Ben Haggarty. Come on in. Browsers welcome!

The Errant Typewriter – Keira Rathbone
11AM – 5PM. All ages, everyone welcome.

Eye Capture - Keira Rathbone ©John Saborido
Typewriter Artist Keira Rathbone will capture unique moments throughout the day using the typewriter characters as her palette, to create ‘typics’ (an array of letters, number and symbols chosen for their shape and textural values resulting in beautiful enigmatic images) that capture the market and its public.
You will find her roaming around the market, ready to open up conversations, and the sharing of memories – a meeting of present and past via the subversion of obsolete technology – you are invited to come closer, sit down at her table and chat.
The finished piece will be displayed at the end of the day, together with a 30 minutes Q&A session.
