culture in hounslow

Culture connects communities, allowing people to share, collaborate, discover new things, learn and spark ideas. Hounslow’s urban and green spaces are brought to life with community events, cultural festivals, street theatre, craft markets and so much more… and you can find that information here!

In our What’s On section you will find a calendar of cultural events happening in theatres and historic houses, museums and art centres, community venues and outdoor spaces across the borough.

Seasonal Programmes

Summer of Culture is a three-month programme of arts and culture happening between June and August. We collaborate with our cultural venues, communities and partners, to offer a programme that provides opportunities for everyone to participate in culture right across the borough.

The Open House Festival is an annual, London-wide celebration of London’s homes, architecture and neighbourhoods which takes place every September. We work with our partners to promote the lesser-known spaces and places in Hounslow.

A free market for everyone, the Boston Manor Arts Market (BAM!) showcases the diverse arts and crafts culture in the borough and creates a platform for creative entrepreneurs to connect with the community.

Stay tuned for upcoming events, explore ongoing projects and join us as we celebrate the rich cultural heritage that makes Hounslow a truly special place. If you want to contact the Culture team please email culture@hounslow.gov.uk

Let’s create, celebrate, and connect through culture.
