Hounslow Council would like to invite you to an art exhibition event to celebrate Pride. We are continuing the Theme of Politics in Art: ‘The Arc is Long’ to conclude the Art Competition we launched in February 2022.
The exhibition event will showcase the art work submitted from contestants of the competition, celebrating the diversity of pieces of art.

Everyone welcome, we will have live performances on the night including screenings from our Film studies, Drama performances, exhibition of Art and Photography, and not forgetting a catwalk highlighting the best of our Textiles.
We will also have Careers, Artists and people from the local community showcasing their practice on the night.

WLQP Has joined forces with the Chiswick Flower Market to bring you a day full of love, celebration and rainbow flags! Yes, we’re camping up Chiswick for the day!
The rainbow flags will be flying in Old Market Place and outside the George IV from 9am when Chiswick Flower Market will be filled to the brim with flowers and plants with some of the best value and interesting traders in London. Chiswick School Choir and Steel Band will be providing the entertainment.
From 10am, will be hosting our first ever LGBTQ+ Parents and Children’s Networking Brunch in the Boston Roman at the George IV. The adults will be given the opportunity to meet and mingle with other families while their children will be entertained with games and crafts by ‘The Kids Table’. Please register at the link in our bio if you would like to attend this free event.
At 1:30pm, Dominic Hughes from Pot Pourri Flowers will be holding a Flower Arranging Workshop where you can learn a new skill in the art of floristry.
From 3pm, we will be hosting our Pride BBQ Party in the garden of the George IV with a performance from the adorable, very talented and “riotously funny” (The Independent) Crayola the Queen at 8pm.

Celebrating their 5th festival, this community event offers you delicious Turkish food, stage performances with live music and singers, art and craft, a 16 teams football tournament, networking and socialising, a fun fair and other fun family activities for children and adults.
