FILM Piccadilly (PG): a 1929 British silent and sound drama film directed by E.A. Dupont, written by Arnold Bennett and starring Gilda Gray, Anna May Wong, and Jameson Thomas. The film was shot on location in London, and produced by British International Pictures.

In the dazzling nightlife of London’s Piccadilly Circus, the intrigue and drama of Valentine Wilmot’s nightclub escalates when a dishwashing dancer, Shosho, is fired only to return as the star, sparking a sensational scandal. Amidst thrilling dance sequences, a love triangle involving Wilmot, his star dancer Mabel, and the rising star Shosho unfolds, leading to jealousy, betrayal, and a tragic confrontation.
