Event Details

Tale be Told theatre bring Boston Manor House’s intriguing history, characters and stories to life to celebrate its 400th year!

‘Out with the old, in with the new’… but is it that easy to adapt to change and keep up with the times? Boston Manor House has opened its doors to the public – can the wonders of the past spark a passion for its future? What role can our community play in its present?

This outdoor, family-friendly production brings to life the history of the house and the characters that once lived within it and puts you in the centre of the action; it’s your house after all…

The event will be outside on our front lawn with no structured seating, so be sure to bring along a picnic blanket, mat or camping chair to sit in. You are welcome to enjoy your own food and drink during the performance.

Please also dress for the English weather: umbrellas, waterproof coats, hats and sun cream are all recommended – who knows whether we’ll see sunshine or rain this summer!

As part of the performance, audience members will be invited to contribute something that can stay with the cast and be put forward as part of the history of the house itself, kept in our ‘ trunk of stories’.

2 sessions available: 1-2PM / 3.30-4.30PM

Tickets starting at £5.04. Book yours here.
