Event Details

Try your hand at this printmaking technique with our printing press!

Unusual for the time, Hogarth made many of his own prints. Learn more about printing and the processes that went into making the prints you see on display in the House. Each workshop will cover Hogarth as a printmaker, the blind embossing and debossing technique and a hands-on opportunity to print one of your own unique designs with our intaglio printing press.

Embossing and debossing involves no ink, but is no less stunning! Using shapes and lines, each participant can create and take home both their plate and embossed/debossed design.

No previous printmaking experience needed.

Participants must be aged 16+. Limited to 10 spaces

Tickets: £4.90, buy them here.
