The Pulp Rocket Theatre production returns to Hogarth’s House!
The Angry Musician is a family-friendly show inspired by William Hogarth’s famous print The Enraged Musician (1741).
Come and join Tom, Crotchet and Moll as they frantically try to rehearse a play, discover themselves, and avoid the various pitfalls of Hogarth’s London. Audiences will be invited to join in the fun as our characters try to put on a play for the King of England. There will be games, music, puns and plenty of audience interaction to entertain all ages.
Staged in the beautiful Learning Studio at Hogarth’s House – the very place Hogarth lived and worked – why should learning a bit of history not be a relaxing summer day out too?
Suitable for all ages. Adults must remain with their children for the duration of the performance.
A bar with light refreshments for sale will be available before and after the performance.
£15 child, £20 adult

Pulp Rocket Theatre wants to craft experiences inspired by history. Whether it is the event of a great artist visiting London, a play that fell victim to censorship, or simply a lost Jacobean masterpiece, we believe in the value of reviving stories forgotten to the past; of making the unremembered memorable once again. The Angry Musician was written by Sam Hill and James Musgrave.
